Whats inside?

01 - Box breathing

The count I leaned on during critical calls. It gives your mind a job and slows your body down.

02 - The long exhale

Breathe out slower than you breathe in. It tells your body the threat has passed.

03 - Break the spiral

How I pulled patients out of the "I'm dying" loop, and how to do it for yourself.

Who's Cam?

I spent years in EMS, first as an EMT and then as a paramedic, running calls for people on the worst day of their lives. I've had my own rough stretches too. This is what actually helped them and me.

Not a doctor or therapist. Just someone who's been there.

If chest pain or trouble breathing is new for you, get checked out or call 911. Having thoughts of suicide? Call or text 988 (US), any time.
